Marisco Art
Marisco Art is two artists, husband and wife, Tony Kellett and Jackie Morris. We are based in the lovely town of Malmesbury in the UK.
Tony Kellett
As a child I enjoyed painting in oils alongside my mother, mostly while on holiday. I went on to do a foundation art year at Somerset College of Art but did little art subsequently until I retired. I now have time to go back to my love of art. I paint in oils and watercolour and am particularly interested in colour, portraits and figure studies. Recently I have been copying Old Masters like Renoir and Manet which is very interesting as one examines very closely the brush strokes used, composition and colour.
Jackie Morris
During my childhood I loved to collect “treasures” from the beach including shells, feathers and shiny pretty things and used them to create pictures and scrap books, I think that was my beginnings as a mixed media artist. In my art today I use objects found at home, resin moulds, metal items to name a few, to create two and three- dimensional art works. I am fond of steampunk, a design style inspired by Victorian era industrialism.
